Art for Art’s Sake – June 2014
Larry Hunt, a local sculpture artist and member of the Artist Co-op of Reno, has asked me to participate in his June 2014 show Art for Art’s Sake, a show of his favorite artist. Needless to say this was a great honor and I am excited to say that I have a few new pieces hanging in this show in the Artist Co-op Gallery of Reno, at 627 Mill Street, Reno. The show will be up for the entire month of June. There will be two artist receptions – June 1st from 1pm – 4pm and June 19th from 5pm to 9pm.
Liberty Fine Art Gallery
I have been asked to join the fantastic group of artist that make up Liberty Fine Art Gallery (LFA) in Reno Nevada. The gallery’s purpose is to display the work of local professional artist. Its monthly shows features paintings, drawings, photographs, glass works, pottery, wood work, metal sculpture, jewelry and limited edition prints. The gallery has a fantastic space right next door to the Nevada Museum of Art (NMA) at 100 West Liberty Street in Reno. I am showing in the June 2014 show and plan to show regularly, LFA Gallery has a First Thursday Artist Open house on the first Thursday each month to correspond with the NMA’s First Thursday event. This allows you to get two great art events in the same evening.
